Nanowrimo Translation Project
Oct. 31st, 2012 07:42 pmWhile I am translating Nightmare Dwelling from Japanese to English, I'll also be doing a full revision of an old Mononoke/Ghost Hunt fanfic by translating it into Japanese. The outcome will be strange, but I hope it will capture the Japanese part of the story more. ...probably to let it sound more authentic, if you know what I mean. I don't know if I'll ever release the Japanese version, which will be called δΊιγ (Futatoori), but the quality will certainly be questionable.
I don't know how I'll cope with this. I will probably hate myself, but it will probably be worth for the practice and better understanding of the story. After this is all done, I will have to translate it back into English again. How's that for self-made suffering? It will be done in romaji, because Nanowrimo word count checker is not very nice to the Japanese language.
Anyway, still a few hours left and tons of homework to do. Argh.
