If you don't mind, I'd like to wait for the new manga chapters first, before delving into other chapters. Probably most of the readers will want to read the manga first? In my case I like seeing the visuals and so that it gives me some prior information about what's going on in the novel text. Anyway, Chapter 3 seems to cover most of the second manga chapter. Part 3.6 has a scene that was totally left out (involves Saki in particular)... it's quite interesting from what I've read. I haven't really looked into chapter 4 yet.
Technically I am nearing the end of my bachelor program, which means I am writing my thesis this semester along with the last advanced language courses. The thesis and the combined workshop seems pretty daunting, but doable. There's an advanced language course of 6 weeks, starting from February, that will take up quite a lot of time. Even if there's a new manga chapter out, it's very likely that you won't see anything from my side during that time frame.

I understand that you're terribly busy. I only have three months till I have to give my final A-level exams, myself. It's okay since you won't have any time during that period. I just expect you get back on track after you're free from your Bachelor's Degree.
No pressure on you from my side. =)

If I had the choice, I would actually read the novel first! Also, it seems like the group who was translating the sequel's manga version, Wonderland After Hours, has become inactive. :( Hopefully it's just because someone became busy temporarily and the group will return soon! BUT your real life should come first and you should only do this stuff if you really have time. Remember to put yourself first!
Anyhow, looking forward to the next release when you have time! Good luck with your thesis and language class. :D
